Manchester City Breaks Premier League Goals Record

Erling Haaland Scores Hat-Trick

Manchester City 3-0 West Ham

Manchester City cruised to a 3-0 victory over West Ham United on Thursday, securing their fifth Premier League title in six seasons. Erling Haaland, the Norwegian striker, stole the show with a hat-trick, breaking the Premier League goals record for a single season.

Haaland's first goal came in the 36th minute when he tapped home a cross from Kevin De Bruyne. He doubled the lead just before halftime with a stunning header from a Riyad Mahrez cross. The third goal came in the second half when Haaland converted a penalty kick after he was fouled in the box by West Ham defender Craig Dawson.

With his hat-trick, Haaland surpassed Sergio Aguero's previous record of 26 goals in a Premier League season. The 22-year-old has now scored 32 goals in the league this campaign, a remarkable feat for a player in his debut season in England.

Manchester City's victory maintains their impressive run of form. They have won their last eight league matches and are unbeaten in their last 19 games in all competitions.
