Crawford to Face Madrimov in Riyadh Season Fight

Crawford Eyes Canelo Alvarez After Fight
Terence "Bud" Crawford, ESPN's No. 2-ranked pound-for-pound fighter and the top welterweight, will face Israil Madrimov (10-0-1, 7 KOs) of Khiva, Uzbekistan, on Saturday night in Los Angeles. The fight will be televised on ESPN PPV, with the main card starting at 7 pm ET and Crawford and Madrimov expected to enter the ring around 11 pm.
The fight is part of the Riyadh Season, a series of events organized by Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority. This is the first time the Riyadh Season has been held outside of Saudi Arabia.
Crawford is moving up to 154 pounds for the fight against Madrimov and has said he is open to fighting Canelo Alvarez, the undisputed super middleweight champion, after the bout.
